In the light of stillness – a small anchor in everyday life

When stillness sparkles and light touches gently, a space for the essential emerges – clear, calm, and comfortingly empty.
Such a moment is no coincidence. It can be cultivated.

Magdalena, our Spa Manager, calls them rituals for the inner light – small anchors in everyday life that guide you back to yourself.

We’d like to share one of them with you:
Nadhi Shodhana – Alternate Nostril Breathing.
A mindful breathing ritual from yoga that brings body, mind, and energy into harmony.
Through conscious breathing, alternating between the left and right sides, the nervous system calms, the mind clears, and inner stillness arises.

Three minutes. Anywhere. Just for you.

What is Nadhi Shodhana?

A proven breathing technique from yoga – also known as alternate nostril breathing.
You breathe alternately through the left and right nostril.
The breath becomes an anchor. The body finds stillness. The mind becomes clear.

This practice helps you to:

  • bring body and mind into harmony
  • cleanse the subtle energy channels (nadis)
  • find a state of deep inner balance

  • As a morning ritual for clarity and focus
  • In moments of stress – to quiet your inner world
  • Before important conversations, decisions, or tasks
  • As a daily practice to reconnect with your center

Tip: The more regularly you practice, the deeper its effects will be.

The scent of winter – a recipe from our AT gourmet kitchen

Made with lots of love and – of course – plenty of chocolate. Simple to recreate, even simpler to enjoy.

Crispy, warm, and with a touch of childhood: winter cookies to fall in love with.

Ingredients | Makes 10–15 cookies

  • 170 g soft butter
  • 150 g muscovado sugar
  • 300 g flour
  • 20 g starch
  • 3 eggs
  • Vanilla & lemon (to taste)
  • 1 tsp baking powder
  • 500 g Alpaco dark chocolate, roughly chopped

How to create a delicious result
Using a hand mixer, combine all ingredients into a smooth dough.
With two teaspoons, place small spoonfuls of dough onto a baking tray lined with parchment paper – leaving enough space in between, as the cookies will spread during baking.
Bake in a preheated oven at 170 °C for approx. 9 minutes, until the edges are lightly golden.
The center should remain soft.
Remove from the oven, allow to cool slightly – and then enjoy.

Our tip for the ultimate winter feeling
Dust lightly with icing sugar before serving – and savour the quiet magic of the Alps.

  • 2 cl coffee liqueur
  • 3 cl hot chocolate
  • 2 cl homemade cinnamon syrup (recipe below)
  • Whipped cream, semi-stiff
  • Cinnamon for garnish

How to make the drink

  1. Chill your cocktail glass beforehand – this keeps the drink especially fresh.
  2. Prepare the hot chocolate and whip the cream until light and creamy.
  3. Pour the rum, coffee liqueur, hot chocolate, and cinnamon syrup into a shaker.
  4. Add ice cubes and shake vigorously until the flavors blend.
  5. Double strain the cocktail – first through the bar strainer, then through a fine sieve – for a particularly smooth and clear texture.
  6. Slowly pour the whipped cream over a spoon into the drink to create the perfect creamy layer.
  7. Sprinkle cinnamon on top – with or without a pattern, according to your preference.

… and now: take some time for yourself, lean back, and let the AT Cinnamon Chocolate Martini melt on your tongue.
