Winter paradise Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese

Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese, in the Fanes-Sennes-Prags Nature Park, looks like a canvas painted after a fairy-tale illustration. Here, tucked away amidst exquisite natural scenarios, snow reigns unchallenged until April. The glistening white enchants and whets the appetite for discovery and adventure: skiers, hikers, toboggan fans, cross-country skiers… eventually, they all fall in love with this place. All around, Mount Cristallo, Tofane, Dürrenstein and Hohe Gaisl scrape the sky and frame this unique Dolomitic stage. It’s hardly surprising that so many Nordic ski national teams choose this speck of Earth for their training!

The circular route in Prato Piazza/Plätzwiese stretches for 6 km through gentle terrain, which makes it perfect for both beginner and guests wishing to train. This is one of the most scenic circular routes in South Tyrol – do not take our word for it, come and see for yourself!
